Christina Buchanan, MSN, APRN, CNM

Christina completed her bachelor's degree in 2011 from the University of Maryland and worked as an L&D nurse for 4 years. In 2016, she earned her master's degree from Frontier Nursing University to become a Certified Nurse Midwife. Shortly after, she completed circumcision training with a local pediatrician. 

Christina has performed over 2,200 circumcisions - on average she does about 10 a week. As the premier referral choice of dozens of DFW midwives and pediatricians, you can trust that your little one will have an excellent experience and cosmetic outcome. 

Christina approaches this service much like she does midwifery - doing her very best to offer choices and then being respectful of those choices.  She has a diverse background of attending births as a midwife in the hospital, birthing center and home setting. ​Christina also has a history of being an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant.

​When not working, she has an 11 year old son, 6 year old son and 4 year old little girl that keep her on her toes! Her husband works as a patent attorney and serves in the US Navy Reserves.
